JANUARY 4, 2011
BK LOUNGE

It was great to see another nearly full house as the time for our weekly show drew near at the BK Lounge. The lounge looks really nice after the remodeling project.

Again, we were missing Dave Purcell tonight. Apparently he got hung-up at work and we really miss him in our line up.

The band performed an outstanding show and late in the first half Ron Fine stepped up to lend his fantastic voice to "Fraulein" and "Life's Railway to Heaven" Then Jerome Oberle and his all button accordion played "The Pennsylvania Polka"; accompanied Marvin Bredemeier while he sang "Cruisin' Down The River" and finished with "Look at us"

The second half we enjoyed Annie Little as she sang "Somewhere Between" and "Just In Case" before calling Jay Holmgren front and center to give us a good lesson in square dance calling to Marvin's fiddle Hoedown. Ron Fine came back to finish the evening with the gospel "Build Me a Cabin In The Corner Of Glory Land"

We are looking forward to seeing you all back at the BK Lounge again next Tuesday. Also, don't forget that we will resume our monthly show at the Grinter Jamboree on Thursday, January 20. Watch this web site for the menu for this months Jamboree.
