JANUARY 25, 2011
BK LOUNGE

Again, the crowd was slow arriving but by showtime we had a very nice group on hand. The entire band was there including Dave Purcell and they all were in fine form as they took their turns performing for the enthusiastic audience.

It was good to see Rick Mowen again after such a long time. He was very well received as he sang "Got a hole in my pocket" and followed that with "Drinkin' Champagne".

After the intermission, Darrel Phillips again filled in on the Bass while Mary Bichelmeyer took a break and enjoyed some line dancing and I saw her taking part in the card game that goes on during the shows. Early in the second set, Annie Little brought her wonderful singing voice up for "Blue Skies" and "Why did I ever". Then Ron Fine came up and did "Someone took my place with you" and "Kentucky Waltz". Near the end of the set Rick Mowen came back for "Ain't it funny how time slips away" and "Walk thru this world with me". We certainly enjoyed all the guests and hope to see and hear them all again soon.

We will be looking forward to seeing all our fans again next week at the BK Lounge.
